History of the Clan

The Clan hosted the Alliance Dinner in 1999. It was a huge success and not only did we pull off the dinner (the nipple cupcakes were a hit), but we managed to come up with presents for the various other clans. Storm Season played after the dinner and presentations were over. Kevin S. was appointed “arbeitermeister” and did his best to keep everyone at their chores. The Clan was happy to welcome potential Battlings Dave S., Robert C., Kevin Hassett, John R., Mark O”Tool, and Shane. This year Chris arrived with his modular castle and proceeded to set it up in the middle of the night, which rated high on entertainment value for the rest of the Clan. Robert and Dave went on a drumming rampage all about the War. The naked Spaghetti Dinner was held on Sunday evening this year. We set up our first hot water heater for our shower and though it wasn’t everything we hoped for, it still beat everything we had tried thus far! There were, unfortunately, some disappointments this year. Swamp Fest was a failure, due to the swamp’s inability to organize (now that’s a surprise!). There was also some fairly serious discontent and turmoil in camp.

• “Don’t Change the Channel”-uttered by people watching Chris constructing the modular castle.
