History of the Clan

In 1997, Clan Die Fledermaus celebrated ten years of existence at Pennsic! We had a invite only dinner party and served turkey legs, shish kabobs, potatoes, corn etc. We also gave out several favors to friends of the clan i.e. Nordwulf, Silver Griffin etc. Indeed, Silver Griffin formed this year. Clan Diva existed for the first and only time at this War. Melanie, Lea and Dee from Nordwulf had fun bellydancing at swampfest. This year the Naked Spaghetti Dinner Party was canceled due to frost! However Kevin was brave enough to play a round of naked miniature golf on the course that Nordwulf had constructed. “Blue-haired Joe” came to Pennsic this year and befriended the Clan, even though he was not camping with us officially. “Newbies” this year were Ari, Matt Palmer, and Magnus. Dave Jones, through no efforts of his own acquired a “bitch”, who left the camp before fulfilling any of her chores.
