Stacia's Hippy Heaven Birthday Party at Stacia's Place, 7PM
Where: 1435 Hamilton Street,
Somerset, NJ
Theme: Hippie Heaven! You *must* come wearing something tiedyed. It can be as teeny as a bikini or as big as a mumu, or even just a baseball cap or a tie. But it must be tiedyed. Prizes will be awarded for brightest colors, most tiedyed square inches on display and most creative use of tiedye.
What to bring: Whatever you want in terms of food/drink/etc. Some will be on hand already, but potlucking means more for all.
Feel free to contact Stacia with any other questions, etc. There is a decent amount of floor space available, but you will need a sleeping bag and pillows!

Directions:
From North Jersey, New York and other points North -
Take Rt. I-95/the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 9 (NewBrunswick/East Brunswick - Rts. 18 & 1). ***Take Route 18 North towards New Brunswick***. Go straight through 2 traffic lights. Take the 3rd exit after that, Rt. 27 South (Princeton). Exit ramp is SHARPLY curved. As you come to the end of the ramp, shift to your left or else you go back onto Rt. 18 and then
stay in the right lane. Take Rt. 27 straight through 3 traffic lights. At 4th light, make a right onto Easton Ave. (New Brunswick train station will be on your right as you turn). Go under train overpass and go straight through 1st light. At 2nd light, make a left onto Hamilton St. Take Hamilton St. straight through 6 traffic lights - there is a Quick Mart on your right by the fifth light if you need cigarettes or soda - and 1435 Hamilton Street, a yellow house, will be on your right, the last house before the 7th traffic light, between Hadler Drive and JFK Blvd. Park on Hadler Ave, NOT in the small parking lot
immediately past the house; we don't wanna make the neighbors cranky. Parking, like crash space, is available but very limited, so carpool if ya can.
From the DC area and other
points South -
Take Rt. I-95/the NJ Turnpike
North to exit 9 (New Brunswick/East Brunswick - Rts. 18 & 1).
As you come off the ramp, GET AS FAR TO THE RIGHT when entering the tolls
as possible. This will involve crossing a couple of lanes, be careful,
but it's the only way to get onto Rt. 18 North, which will be to your right
as you exit the tolls. As you get onto the ramp for 18
North, get to the left,
or you'll wind up on Rt. 1. Stay on Rt. 18 North, and follow directions
from above.
From Rt. 287 South -
287 South to exit # 10 (527/New
Brunswick/Easton Ave). Take Easton Avenue straight through 4 traffic
lights. Pass Village Plaza on your left, with Dunkin Donuts and Mc
Donalds and immediately past that on your right is an exit ramp for
JFK Blvd. Take it. (If you go through 5th light and pass Rutgers
Cinema, you have gone too far). Take JFK Blvd straight through 2
traffic lights. At third light, make a left onto Hamilton Avenue,
and immediately another left, either on Hadler Ave or the driveway of 1435
if you are way lucky or early. Follow the noise, we'll be there.

Die Fledermaus' Secret Satan Party at the Happy House, 9PM
Once again it is time for Die Fledermaus' annual holiday party.
We exchange gifts in a game, known as Secret Satan, where it pays to be last in line. All you have to do to play is
bring a wrapped gift. We keep gift values at $20 or less. Gifts should also be
non gender specific, because we don't know who will end up with it.
